UFC FIGHT NIGHT ROTTERDAM: The Undercard Report

Yan Cabral VS Reza Madadi
A good first fight and always good to start with a finish as Madadi stops Cabral in round 3 by TKO. This was a technical grappling match with Cabral doing most of the striking and securing a take down late in the first round then advancing his position several times taking the first round 10-9.
In the second round it was close on the feet with Madadi securing a takedown he took the second round 10-9.
Cabral looked very tired coming out into the third and Madadi caught him with an uppercut and followed up with 3 big shots all landing. With Cabral looking out on his feet the ref stepped in and stopped the fight.

Jon Tuck VS Josh Emmett

A phenomenal debut from the Team Alpha Male fighter Josh Emmett after a close first round with Emmett getting the best of it and dominating the second round. Emmett lost the 3rd after a nasty broken finger after it was hit by a wheel kick. The judges decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) Emmett.

Magnus Cedenblad VS Garreth Mclellan
A slow feeling out first round which still contained a knockdown from Cedenblad. A more dominant second round from Cedenblad as he rocked Mclellan with a right head kick and hits him with a flurry of hard uppercuts forcing the referee to stop the fight which is the second standing TKO of the night!

Rustam Khabilov VS Chris Wade
A superb fight and a good victory for Khabilov! Khabilov with his trademark grinding style took the first round and looked to be doing the same at the start of the second until a huge switch head kick from Wade dropped Khabilov. Khabilov recovered extremely quickly from a devastating knockdown and came back to win the third. The judges decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) Khabilov.
